You developed many websites using various frameworks but you are beginners when it comes to Ruby on Rails.
You used Ruby on Rails years ago, your skills are not what they used to be anymore (oldies goldies yeah!) so you want to brush up on them.
You just found out about this through 9gag or 4chan by some weird link.

After the highly acclaimed first experience, we are gladly inviting you to a new EESTEC Online Seminar under the name of Ruby On Rails on April 13th 2013 at 3:00pm CET.
This seminar will be an introduction to Ruby on Rails, an MVC (Model-View-Controller) based web framework. It is widely used by web developers because it allows more focus on the structure and requires less code writing for lots of possibilities. That is why developing on Ruby on Rails is called creating magic.
Content of the seminar will be:
MVC Structure and its importance
Installing Ruby on Rails on your OS
Creating your first Ruby on Rails project
Models, setting relations between data
View, template structure of Ruby on Rails
View, Haml - a markup language for writing clean HTML
Controllers - Connecting the models with the View
Heroku, why and how should you use it
Heroku, live example of using it
Start preparing your wands because we are going to make some serious magic soon!
The seminar will be delivered by Mr Sukru Bezen, an EESTEC member from the Middle East Technical University of Ankara.
The broadcasted will air through Google Hangout. A link for watching will be available one hour before the seminar starts and will be posted on our Facebook and Twitter pages. You will be able to ask questions and add your inputs by sending an mail to eesteconlineseminar@gmail.com.
